{East Canyon Resort} Spring Break

My parents got a condo up at East Canyon for spring break and we tagged along...

I took Brett, Chels, and the boys up friday night and everyone else joined us on Saturday for general conference

We had a blast exploring, making pine cone boats, swimming, staying up late playing games, mini golfing, learning shuffleboard, and celebrating Brett's birthday!

{Bike Rides}

Jude got his bike for christmas and we bought cousin Ryder's bike last month for Ashton... They both are gaining so much confidence and I love seeing them outside together.

Here's to lots and lots of fun and adventures outside for these two!

{Ski Day}

For Christmas this year my parents gave us ski passes to Sundance. We had been waiting to use them till it was a little warmer (so we could take the boys since they are still free) and Mikey had a break in school. So this week being his spring break it was perfect. My mom kept the boys that morning so Mikey and I could spend half a day together then she brought them up to do the other half. It couldn't of been a more pretty day!

Okay, I had to post the selfie pic because it was the last pic i took before I lost my phone on the mountain!! I was texting Mikey who had left something at home and ran back to get it, when my lift stop came up and so I hurried and put my phone in my pocket and thought I'll just zip it when I get off... I totally got distracted and never zipped it. I didn't even notice is was gone until I finished my run. Luckily when my smart hubby got back he thought to track it and we were able to find it... unbroken under the lift! Kinda a bummer we spent most the morning looking for my phone, but I still loved being with him!

When my mom dropped the boys off they were ready to go, go, go!

This was Ashton's second season. He loves skiing and I loved seeing this boy in his element. I can't believe how good and fearless Ashton is on the slopes. He took every run and never hesitated for a second. I would even be nervous for a sec looking down a hill and he would fly by me!!

This was Jude's first time skiing! The boy has dreamed of this day for a year and has talked about it since the first snow storm this season. When I was putting away the christmas decor this year he was so worried that meant winter was over and he couldn't go skiing. Well, finally yesterday was his day! The first thing he said when he got off the lift was "I wanna go by myself" and he did for some of it! It was so fun to be able to ski with my little man for his first time! That is for sure something i'll never forget.

Ashton had the gopro on his helmet and it was so funny to hear what he was saying "The faster you go the funner it is... THIS IS AWESOME!... Body don't fail me now" haha!

I loved spending time on the mountain with these three ski bums! 

{Chris Turns 30} Vintage Golf Party!

This weekend I helped my sister Holly throw a surprise 30th birthday party for her golf loving husband! We loved the idea of having everyone dress up in old time vintage golf outfits, so we rolled with the idea of a vintage inspired golf party!

We played 6, half minute to win it games, but our by far favorite one we had the birthday boy do... They tied tissue boxes full of marshmallows around their waists and had to shake their backends until all the marshmallow were out!
It was historical!!

Lastly we finished with everyone sharing memories of Chris from the past 30 years!!

Happy, Happy 30th Birthday Chris! We love you and are so glad we got to celebrate you!!

I had my activity day girls over for a valentines and special card making party, and Ashton was totally jealous! He came home from school friday convinced since I got to have my girls over for a valentines party he was going to have all his cousin's over for one too. So last minute we called up the cousin's for a valentines sleepover! It was so fun! We ordered pizza, made valentines cards, decorated cookies, played some of the silliest sleepover games ever, and went to bed way to late! I love seeing these kids all together making life long memories like i have with my cousins!

Today I'm celebrating another year of love and lessons learned!

It my birthday and i'm totally sick... I'm not supposed to be sick or neither is my family!! I'm kinda bugged if you can't tell.

 But I do have an amazing husband who still had a happy birthday sign hanging up when I woke up and a present waiting for me.... Soooo excited about my new gel nail kit!! I tried Megan's when I was there and I'm obsessed!

I also have the best sister who brought us dinner and a mini birthday cake for me! I'm so lucky that even though I was totally feeling awful, I have amazing people around me who love me and tried to make my day special! 

Now time to get better so I can really Party!!

{Arizona in January}

My nephew Ty was getting baptized this weekend along with his baby brother Bennett getting his baby blessing so we made a road trip down to Arizona! We left early so we could spend a few days with one of our favorites, Aunt Megan...

We left about 6 pm on wed and got to Phoenix about 3:30 am... It is the best way to do a long drive with kids, the boys had activities to do in the car and then at 8:30 we put it all away and said it was bed time and it totally worked!

They slept the whole way!

The next couple of days Meg treated us to some fun around Phoenix!

This train park was such a hit... We loved it!

The next morning after Uncle Erik had fallen in their {not heated} pool, the boys decided they wanted to put their feet in and see just how cold it was... 42 degrees! Jude didn't last long... but Ashton kept on telling us he was going to jump in {in his teasing voice}. But sure enough the second time he went running toward the pool he really did Jump!! The poor thing was froze the core!

Friday night Meg was flying out so we said our goodbyes and headed to gilbert for the celebrations...

For the next two days we swam and swam and swam! The kids were loving every minute!

I was horrible at documenting all the cute details of the weekend, but I did get some pictures of the Gilbert Temple open house we were able to attend Saturday night after Ty's baptism.

I'm so thankful we were able to go and be with our family the we miss so much!! It was such a perfect weekend and I'm already trying to plan another trip!

{Front-runner}

Mikey planned a trip for us to ride front-runner up to the gateway to see Born to be Wild on the imax at the Clark Planetarium... It was such and great time and Kenny and his boys even got to come along!
