Jude's Puppy Dog Party!

We had such a great time celebrating Jude turning the big number 2! He loves puppies so we knew exactly what kind of party he wanted! We threw 2 parties for our little puppy... We had a dinner with the Boyers and a brunch with the Fergs. We kept it simple but still had a great time! I made puppy ears for all the little puppies in attendance, we played obedience school, and they each went home with a goody bag full of puppy chow and a tennis ball for fetch. Jude loved all the attention and blowing out his candle several times that day!

What a fun Halloween we had! The boys and I carved/painted pumpkins, went on a school field trip to Pumpkin Land, partied with family, Trick or treated till we couldn't go anymore, and enjoyed the beautiful weather!

My sweet boy went in for his second set of ear tubes and a adenoidectomy a couple of weeks ago.

He was such a sweet boy waiting in the waiting room before surgery! {Besides the fact that he had to fast.... he would ask me for a dink aka drink every 2.7 seconds and then go ask Mike. Just not fair for a 22 month old.}

After surgery they brought this screaming boy into us. It was so hard to know what to do ... the doctors said he just hadn't come all the way out of the anesthesia yet and this was causing the disorientation and sadness. It was so hard to watch, at least the last time we went through this Jude was nine months old and I was able to nurse him to calm him down.

After about 30 minuets he was drinking and relaxing with his favorite pal Pooh Bear! He had a great and speedy recovery. Which included lots of smoothies and popsicles :)

Annual Cabin Trip

Every summer we look forward to going to Papa and Grandma Sue's Cabin for a weekend of a lot of family fun! Here is a peek at some of the good times we had, including fishing, campfires, and you better believe a lot of 4 wheel rides!

Before Mike started his long 2 week shoot with David Sides we decided to have a fun family adventure at Thanksgiving Points Farm Country!

On our drive there Ashton pointed this out!! Haha he loved it!

My little Peter Pan turned four! This party is all he has talked about for the last 8 months! He was so excited to see all his buddies arrive as Indians, Pirates, Lost Boys, and Fairies.

He made up quite the menu for lunch and we all enjoyed Pizza, Green Jello, all his favorite fruit, and a great Pirate drink!

What a fun afternoon it was celebrating Ashton turning the big number 4!!

It's Birthday Time Again!

It seems like all I will do this month is post about birthdays! With Ashton and Mikes coming up next week and my sister in-law Skylar, Baby Haws, and my mom's this week!! So Happy Birthday to All my May Birthdays!

Today is my Mom's actual Birthday!! What a incredible lady she is! She is absolutely the best. She is extremely talented, I swear everything she touches turns into perfection. She is the most loving and giving person I know, she can turn anything and everything into a song! She loves her family, the lord, and the gospel. She has been through so much in her life and has always had an amazing testimony. No one can compare to my mom! I love you lots and lots! Happy Birthday!

Kansas for a Weekend

My sister has almost been married for 10 years and most of those years she has lived out of Utah. Mike, the kids, and me have never made a trip out to see them, so I have been feeling like a visit was WAY over due. My nephew Steven was being baptized this past weekend so we packed up and made the big trek out to Kansas!

Driving 13+ hours wasn't really as bad as I had made it seem it would be! We got Ashton a new booster and Jude was able to sit in a big boy car seat. We left at 3:30 am hoping that the kids would sleep in the car helping the trip seem shorter for them. This defiantly was a plus! The boys slept until 9:00 and I may have gotten a couple of hours of sleep myself :) The rest of the drive do I dare say seemed to be enjoyable.

My little brother Kevin is working and living out in Kansas with my sister for the summer so we dove his car out for him, and we did have to pull over for some miner repairs...

Steven was so sweet and excited for his Baptism day! And what a special day it was. So happy we could be there to celebrate with him!

The boys had so much fun playing with cousins, roasting marshmallow on the fire, and playing outside in the summer weather we don't have in Utah yet!

Miss all of you in Kansas already! Thanks for all the good times!

This year the Downeast and Modbe swim lines are sooo fun! I love all the colorful prints and designs they have this year! Nothing is better then a giveaway on one of these cute suits! I entered at A Little Lady Hope I can win!

I feel so lucky, blessed, and grateful to be with my boys forever! What an incredible day it was 2 years ago today to go to the Provo Temple and be sealed as a family for time and all eternity!

My best friend got married to the love of her life on Mach 12! It was so fun to have her up here for a full two weeks before the wedding! We had a blast staying up late, going to gown fittings, and doing all the other last minuet wedding plans! We threw her a bachelortte party at Sparks two nights before the wedding and what a fun crazy night that was. The wedding was incredible! Everything came together just perfect!

My beautiful Grandma Boyer Passed away in march

When I went to visit her the Friday before she passed I wasn't sure what to expect, but she was still my beautiful grandma. I walked in and she was laying on the coach with Cindy, when she noticed I was there she sat up and opened her eyes and begin to tell me how gorgeous I looked. I could help the tears from swelling up in my eyes. I knelt by her side and explained I was all dressed up because I was on my way to the temple with my friend for her endowment. She asked me which Temple and when I said Provo she laid down and nodded beautiful. She always had a way of making me feel beautiful and special. I love you Grandma!!!! What an incredible life you lived!!!

It's usually about this time that everyone starts thinking about Christmas cards… except me! I usually think about it when I receive my first one around Christmas Eve. Of course by then I have spent my Christmas budget and there is really no time left to get them out to all of our loved ones. I usually end up settling on the idea that I will just send out Valentines or Easter holiday cards {which has only happened once in four years of marriage}. We had such a fun Halloween with family! Ashton's whole life revolves around Peter Pan right now so of course his biggest wish this year was for all of us to dress up as Peter Pan characters. Ashy was Peter Pan, Dad was Hook, I was Wendy, and Jude was Nana the Dog :)

Dance is really busy right now the girls have had a lot of opportunities to perform the last couple of weeks.... plus its competition season!

We took Company and Pee Wee girls to this competition and they rocked the house! I'm so proud of all the girls and how amazing they did! Company brought home 3 high scoring 1st place and one high scoring 2nd!

Easter Weekend!

Saturday we went to my parents for a BBQ, a easter egg hunt, and easter baskets! Every year my Dad hides our easter baskets out in the backyard, and it is never an easy task to find them. It was Mikey's first year and needless to say he was the last one to find his basket!! Here are a few photos of the night:

My sister Kristin had her baby on March 6th at 11:03 am weighing in at 7 lbs. 9 oz and 20 inches tall. She is so cute and we are all so happy she is finally here!

Baby Ashton Update

Ashton went in for his 9 month well baby check up last week, and I'm happy to say that he is starting to gain back some of the lost weight from when he was sick. In January he was hit hard with RSV not able to sleep, breath good or even just be the happy baby he always has been. It's been a hard 2 months but Ashton is finally starting to feel better. The doctor said he can still hear it in his lungs and his throat is still a little red but he is on his way up. He is in the 75th percentile for weight and height! And the word sleep has finally come back into our home (yay i get to blog again!)

Bad News!

Today is valentines and I don't get to take any pictures! Not of the beautiful flowers my husband bought me, not of Ashton's first valentines, NOT OF ANYTHING! Last week while trying to document my messy son eating pees for lunch I managed to break our camera. I dropped it with the lens open!!!! The lens won't open all the way or close all the way now and I am camera less until further notice :(

Mikey got home a little early today from work and decided it was time to take care of all the snow. He got out the 4 wheeler and plowed the whole parking lot. Ashton and I were able to hangout inside and stay warm. Ash loved watching dad hard at work, every time I tried to move him he would just start crying. Thanks Dad for all your hard work... I'm sure the neighbors are grateful too!
